Desktop app workflow
SocialDesk runs on the user's own Windows desktop. The local app stores scheduled posts, settings, tokens, snippets, and history in a local database. This public website exists to describe the app, provide legal/support pages, and host OAuth callback pages required by providers.
Shared copy with Instagram, Facebook, Threads, TikTok, and YouTube channel controls.
Fix buttons guide the user to media, schedule, token, or copy edits.
Uploaded video and image assets can be copied, attached, checked, or removed.
TikTok integration
SocialDesk uses TikTok Login Kit to authorize a TikTok account and uses the TikTok Content Posting API for eligible video handoff to TikTok's inbox posting flow. The desktop app prepares the campaign, validates the public video URL, schedules or reviews the post, and sends the video through the approved API flow when configured.
SocialDesk supports Facebook Pages, Instagram professional accounts, Threads profiles, TikTok video handoff, YouTube upload setup, and manual posting destinations where platform APIs are limited.
SocialDesk is designed as a self-hosted desktop tool. Scheduled posts, OAuth tokens, media references, snippets, and history are stored by the local desktop app, not by this public website.
